The daughter could get a lot out of the club but Mom creates a lot of barriers. She actually had an envelope of cash with her but didn't pay the coach before practice, when they were alone... just needed the drama I guess. I'm starting to wonder if her livelihood doesn't involve small packages and large wads of cash. Hopefully that's the last we'll see of her.

I am continually amazed at the number of people in the world who require drama, even for the most insignificant and commonplace circumstances. So many people create it out of thin fucking air...sometimes I do a literal double take when I see it happening.

Are people just that bereft of real, meaningful interactions in their lives that they have to amp up every damn thing that happens in order to feel something?
