Seriously though, now that I have given this a few minutes thought. I notice you've mixed natural and artificial things, so here is my list of the seven most wonderous things in the world. (I avoid sappy references to Significant Others - only things which most people can reasonable experience).
1. Life itself. Take inert matter, arrange it "just so" and WOW. It grows its own complexity and beauty. 2. The internet. Damn near anything I want to find out, if it is known by humans, is available within a few minutes. And rule 34. 3. Fractal geometry. Simple formula, recursively applied = infinte complexity and beauty. 4. Tokyo. 32,000,000 people living in each other's pockets and it WORKS. Full of great stuff. 5. The aurora. Haven't seen it. Wanna see it. 6. Total solar eclipses. Have seen one, wanna see more. 7. A grex. Tens of thousands of slime mould amoeba unite into a slug-like body, act collectively, differentiate, spore, and the remainder die. How the hell do they do that? Damn I have so many more. Maybe another list one day...
