NOBODY who is competent or intelligent would have sent the troops to Iraq in the first place. Obama will be able to bring the troops back without any help from anyone in Congress. As president, all he has to do is order it.

It will happen. Not only should he bring them back, he should apologize to the people of Iraq for George W. Bush starting an unwarranted, unprovoked, and unconstitutional war of aggression against them.

They will be free to determine their own destiny at that point.

It will happen.

Not at all. They were free to determine their own destiny before we ever went there. The destiny they had chosen was to have Saddam Hussein rule them. If they wanted something else, they could have overcome Saddam and his forces without any help from America.
