Radar, given your strict originalist view on the constitution, it amazes me to no end that you are willing to apply this label to Obama. After years of calling us all idiots and fools for allowing even a modicum of perspective in interpreting the constitution, you're almost wetting yourself with glee over a candidate who favors abandoning the 2nd amendment, supports the radical expansion in meaning of the 14th by the supreme court, and wholeheartedly endorses the illegal 16th.

For many of us, his view on the constitution seems reasonable and politically mainstream, but that's never been your bellwether: you've always been a strict constructionist, and Obama clearly is not. I'm genuinely curious as to how you reconcile the disparity between his political ideals and yours.
