I'm going to try to be better on this. Someone felt compelled to burn a cross about 5 miles from here in the yard of a pair of local potters. Time to trade love for fear.

Yikes. In Western PA. They should have been putting up barbed wire the minute the moving truck left.

I'm not saying that all or even most of the residents of Western PA are inbred, racist, m******rs. I am saying that the percentage goes from 'almost zero' to 'statistically significant' the further west you go.

Actually this is Susquehanna County in NEPA. The Klan was active in neighboring Bradford County 30 years ago, but I don't remember anything like this happening here. I've never had any problems, but they don't come much whiter than me.

WoW, that is scary as hell. There are some crazy people out there. I have not heard of any cross burnings down here in GA and you would think that would be a rampant act given the sterotypes of people in the South. What is the world coming to?

The Springfield Massachusetts D.A., has determined the predominately black Church under construction, that burned down a few hours after Obama was declared the winner, was arson... but, not a hate crime.
