My family: that the closest of whom emotionally are also close geographically close

My friends: those nearby and those in other lands

The University of Leeds: beautiful campus, a brilliant School of History, and one of the best research libraries in the UK.

Doctor Who: the gift that keeps on giving

Television: long may it reign.

Computers and teh interwebz: allows me to play out my dreams in the virtual and to have good friends around the world.

The English language: which I adore

My country: whose story has fascinated me for as long as I can remember.
