it's because we haven't been giving as much as we are taking. We need to make more of the threads we like to read if we want it to be 'the cellar the way we like it' ™

I'm a refugee from a similar message board community that I've participated in for 9+ years. The little bit of lurking I've done makes me think you guys have a similar community with a similar vibe. I'm looking forward to participating and getting to know the folks here.

So since I'm a brand spankin' noob here, ask me again in 9 years and maybe I'll vote this the best forum on the internet. For the moment, it seems pretty cool to me, though.
