Immigration Enforcement Un-American?

Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on Thursday blamed the global economic crisis on “white people with blue eyes” and said it was wrong that black and indigenous people should pay for white people’s mistakes.

But that is what he said. I can't know what he meant, or read his mind(it would be in Portuguese anyway), I can only know what he said. And as a blue eyed white person, I take exception to his statement.
