It's not only the biggest tape ball in the world, it is also unusually well socialized. It gets taken on rides in cars, and when at home spends its time in a well-furnished location so it can discuss philosophy with its human friends.

Obviously you never said to him "no hurry, stick around" and three days later he's still there, has drank all your scotch, and won't adhere to simple house rules (I've told him to put the seat down about 60 times.) I told him to stick around and I got stuck. Hmmph.
