It also makes it hard to debate any issue, because as soon as you identify yourself as a Christian, many people automatically dismiss you as homophobic, ignorant, or silly or just plain stupid. And I'm none of those things. Once again, more knee-jerk reaction at work.

I know the Cellar is no place to be spouting anti-gay rhetoric, but I am always relieved to meet Christ-emulating Christians.

I do a really sucky job most of the time, but I'm really trying, and that's the part that counts.

There are too many of the other sort out there imho. And without being a 'basher - I have met them. I just happen to live with two who aren't. Just wish I could get Dads to change his mind on teh ghey issue.
