nfl - division winners

are they really that clueless?
they place the weaker patriots as the even greater favorite, and they bunch the rest all together as if they are of the same dynamic.
since bill took over the dolphins, they won the afc east and participated in the play-offs.
the team is clearly stronger than last year, while the bills are weaker, and the jets still need a few years.

the steelers are on the downfall.
anyone who really knows football is well aware of this.
the ravens attempt at creating an attack is a failure for sure.
the bengals have created an incredible passing attack..it will be exciting to watch.
the browns are full of question marks....i like quinn, and the defence will be coming around sooner or later.

the only thing i'm sure about in this division is that the titans are going to finish in last place.
the colts are not as strong as they have been, leaving this division open to be won by another team.
the jaguars were in draft mode last year and they seem to be the main candidate for this division, but i can't count out the texans who are developing very well as a franchise.

the chiefs, are easily the worst franchise in the nfl.....it will show each year that passes.
the broncos got a lot lot weaker than last season.
the raiders seem to be the main candidate for 2nd place, and at this price, a cover is affordable.

the giants defence remains elite, however eli manning is left without many options other than his amazing running back jacobs.
the only team i leave out of this race is my favorite team eagles.

i've put some serious money on this bet as i'm well aware how good this falcons attack is.
i don't just think they're gonna win this division, but i think they have a shot at competiting for nfc championship.
rb turner and qb ryan are top of the line.

this is, by far, the weakest division in football.
i'm not going to wager anything in this division, despite knowing how weak seattle is.
arizona's passing game remains elite, however they're not that good of a team as it stands.
gore will be key in the 49ers season.
the rams look like the best option based on the price, but i can't wager on such a weak team.

Yes, if you mean better over-all team. Healthy RBs will make for a better offense. No, if you mean better finish. The league, not counting Detroit, is built for parity some other squad will make a run.

i was asked about what i think about rzepczynski.
i would say that he's clearly the blue jays 3rd best starter at this time, behind overpaid halladay and decent romero.
cecil should be in pitching in single a, richmond in double a.
rzepczynski should be a triple a starter at this time.
it kind of says a lot about how weak this blue jays rotation is.

lets take a small little peak into the jays line-up.
since holding first place in the major leagues, the toronto blue jays line-up is batting below the mendoza line.
unacceptable for a major league team.
the jays are a disgrace.
no future in sight either.

penny - jackson

edwin jackson is becoming very hard to hit against.
he's consistently good.
good enough to hold a 2.62 era and 1.12 whip.
penny has never come back to that old self, who was completely dominating..... its been 2 years now.
the red sox are outclassed in their division, 6.5 games back of the yankees, and only 1.5 up on the rays who will inevitably surpass them.

although i have bet on the detroit tigers winning their division at 4.00.
i must say that the minnesota twins seem more capable of winning this division.
their line-up span is alright to lead off, cabrera is a very good for the number 2 slot, mauer is out of this world, batting .365, morneau with his 28 home runs and 91 rbi's already,
the tigers may win the division against this superior line-up, as the twins rotation is very weak...... we'll see.

hernandez - buehrle

i have not given felix hernandez enough credit.
the 23 year old, playing for a mediocre mariners team, is 12-4 with a 2.84 era this season.
buehrle, after pitching a no hitter, has allowed 28 hits and 17 runs in his last 3 starts.
the price is very attractive given who's pitching.

felix hernandez obviously did his part, shutting out the white sox, recording 10 k's.
its 0-0 in the bottom of the 13th with the mariners at bat, but i can't wait around till it ends to post the result.

there's something really interesting going on with justin verlander.
i've been watching him very closely since he began in the majors.
after proving to be the elite to come, he then struggled a little.
his struggling was due to learning new things.
well...he's learned some very important things, and i believe that he's half a step away froim being one of the most dominating pitchers in baseball. one stat to take note of this season, is his 186 strike-outs in 159.1 innings.
