Getting Drunk in the Middle of the Day...

...and smoking a brisket, some pork loin cuts, cleaning the kitchen, downloading music, organizing my media files, doing laundry, and listening to Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane, Over the Sea" at Ibby's recommendation.

Waiting to the last minute to get my shower and pack for tonight's gig.

Shower and shave is last on my list for the evening. Then, in the morning, I get to go out to Camp and pick up the PA that is on loan to the annual women-only festival, and take it to the local Pagan store, and do sound for a harp guitarist concert tomorrow night.

I have no problem having a few beers but getting drunk mid afternoon just makes me fall asleep early, wake up in the middle of the night, and general have a shitty day the next day.

Was treated to surf & turf for supper. Steak, lobster, corn on the cob, baked potato, coleslaw, applesauce, and roll... cooked up by good Mennonite ladies.

the only cure for that feeling is to get drunk again in the middle of the day.

I was right. fell asleep on the sofa about an inch into my 4th. what a waste of a beer...... I'll never learn, though

Had driving lessons for my kid. Made an apple crisp. Sorted out my mothers garage earlier. Now I am in my pjs. Warm ones.
