My quavers have always been cute. Thank you for noticing, you flirt.

I can never find my link to the long list of weird html characters. So I end up having to google for it. ("musical note html")

So does anyone know how English (European?) names for the length of musical notes get to be different from the US version? I had never heard of a quavers and crotchets until a couple of years ago.

Oh thank you! You never know when you're going to need a cute quaver or two!
German note names are similar to the American system. Perhaps it is just us Brits that are wierdos ?
