Viral marketing is supposed to be subtle, gentle... like a rhinovirus.
Not like freakin' ebola.

Too bad the spamtastic didn't see the difference.

A bullshit gimmick re-invention of the wheel: "Now with eight sides for smoother rolling!"

A five in one tool and a brush spinner will clean a roller faster than that. Also in the video the guy take s a fully charged roller and acts like he's done painting and goes to clean it off.

That kind of shit makes me want to scream.

If those are your friends then you need new friends.

maybe he was trying to show that it would clean even a totally sogged roller. My issue is that I get a 3 pack for $7 - not worth the effort nor time to clean since I paint so infrequently. If you use top of the line adn paint often maybe its a useful tool. Neat idea nonetheless.
At first I thought it was a 2 headed roller - that was an interesting idea though.

Seems like a lot of trouble. Like classicman said, rollers are not that expensive. If I'm painting a room and might want to do another coat the next day, some saran wrap around the roller will keep it from drying out. Use it for a couple of days to finish the job, and then throw it away.

This invention is like inventing something that washes paper plates. It kind of misses the point.

But when it comes to brushes, paying for high quality brushes instead of disposable foam crap is worth it. I've got excellent brushes that are ten years old. Just keep cleaning them well and taking care of them.

You know... it's easiest to just not paint. That's my strategy...

I have no problem with buying the damn rollers, just using them.

Me too, but I have seen rollers that were over $20, for special applications. For a pro using expensive rollers frequently, this tool might be a winner. Not for me though.

I keep mis-parsing this as a pain-trifuge.
