He has to have the widest range I've ever seen in a character actor. Among lots of other roles, he's Owen - the nose-dripping, grubby, backwoods type with the pickup truck in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. And he's the slimy lawyer from Disclosure. Amazing range.

Some of the guys in that list are too big to be "that guy"
Like Fred Ward, and Sam Elliott. Maybe even Kevin Tighe, who is famous in my generation as Paramedic Roy in the Emergency TV show. Should Brian Dennehy be in this list? Or has he become too famous? |
