Anecdotal evidence only.
My Dad is just over 6 foot and developed a blood clot on his lung. However this was following surgery, so it may not even be useful anecdotally...

Actuarial tables have long said that tall people have shorter lives.

Being tall is good in a crowd, and is probably good in most social interactions. But it is a liability everywhere else. It's best to be average height. Things are designed for average people.

No, average people are not 5 feet tall. Toilets, sinks, countertops, and cellars are designed for 5 footers. Tall men develop back problems and lumpy heads as well as leg clots because we're always bending and squatting.
