xoB, if you have actually banned ReDux I feel you've made a mistake and urge you to take a second look.

Classicman could have ended the recent fracases at any time, and should have done so.
ReDux is usually quite factual in his postings, even when he is criticizing others.
He is just relentless, but so are some of the other Dwellars.

TheMercenary and Classicman both seem to be unable
to restrain themselves in creating or participating in such episodes.
Yet they are condoned by you and a few other Dwellars.
Merc openly advocates "capping" two named leaders of our government,
yet no one responds, and you support him by arguing with Spexxvet
over a 2nd instance of Merc's advocating assassination.
I find this quite strange.

Again, if you have banned ReDux, I urge you to re-instate him.
Otherwise,I suggest you follow the postings of Flint and SteveDallas
by banning all of us that tend to stir up the Politics forum.

Not strange at all. This community doesn't care what your "content" is. THE CELLAR IS NOT MODERATED FOR CONTENT. Again, in case you are not familiar with the concept, the relevant quality is whether an idividual displays a repeated tendency towards being INTOLERABLY IRRITATING. And yes, this is highly subjective. But, on the same hand, you ARE given unlimited "strikes" to redeem yourself.

I have never been an advocate of banning someone for ANY reason. But, in a moment of clarity, I made a massive policy reversal when I realized: I am sick and ƒucking tired of random threads being ruined by this CHILDISH BULLCRAP.

FTR, this was an off handed remark in response to something someone else posted, after 20+ years of government service I have never advocated nor would I ever support the violent overthrow of our government and in fact I almost always state something to the effect of "a change by any legal means". I hope this clears that up.
