Why is this place so quiet today?

I haven't been very active here either, and I apologize for that.

On a sidenote, I just ate a piece of english toffee with what I assumed was a little piece of dissovable rice paper wrapped around it ... no, it was definitely a piece of plastic that I just pulled out of my mouth. Gross.

Anyway, work has been busy as shit. The other full-time business reporter is this lame bitch who's been "sick" and in and out of the office for the past four weeks ... and of course my fucking boss took her third week of vacation in two months this week. In other words, there's a lot to be done and not a whole lot of organization. I just want to throw a chair through a window.

We had a company breakfast this morning to celebrate the holidays ... I caught one of the business chicks cooking scrambled eggs in the MICROWAVE. Gross (again). I scooped up some eggs and noticed some of it had a greenish, greyish tinge ... in a phone conversation earlier I compared it to an old, wet sponge.

So, that's my day in Suburbia, USA. Anyone win the lottery lately?
