weird using the ring from a couple who ended so publically disastrously. I guess for him it's just his mum's ring and they're both too young to see it as the same symbol of Diana and Whatisname as we old folk do....

Next, it'll be the date, the venue (Westminster Abbey is top of the pops so far) then the flowers, the bridesmaids and of course the effing frock...

Starting today we'll all be flooded with royal wedding hysteria trivia and I do sort of wish they'd nip off to Gretna and just do it, but still wish them all the luck in the world, they'll need it.

As to the effing frock, do you think she'll choose a brit designer
