Are you sure about that? 'cause I recall reading that a hen will lay one egg per day until her clutch is complete, then the eggs (by means of some inter-egg communication) all hatch on the same day. This would mean that they cannot all take the same number of days. I can't be arsed looking this up though. Anyone?
