Well, biologically, I'm the fourth of five.

Three older (2 boys (one deceased (crib death)) and one sister) from one father, then me (from a different father), and one younger (once again from a different father). My sister is the only one I talk to. The oldest has never met me. And the youngest doesn't want to.

Adopted-wise, I'm the youngest of eight. Four and four. The oldest is a defrocked Catholic priest who tried to molest me when I was young, the next is an aunt who might not be all there, followed by an aunt who hates everyone in the family, then my biological mother (who refuses to even acknowledge my existence) , then an uncle who thinks he's the wise-ass of the family. Next father gives us an uncle who converted to Judaism. (That's gotta be some mean pussy make a man change gods like that.) And the last father brings us to an aunt who decided that since I wouldn't leave Freemasonry to join the Jehovahs Witnesses, I was banned from any contact with "her" family.

And people wonder why I'm antisocial...

I have no knowledge of the events which you are describing, and if I did have knowledge of them,
I would be unable to discuss them with you now or at any future period.

I have one brother, two years older than me. I am perhaps moderately cool, whereas he is #$%@ing awesome. He's a firefighter for a living and drives racing cars for a hobby (and is pretty darn good at it, but not professional).

We're in occasional contact, reasonably friendly, but not really close.

Man, you've got at least five years worth of The Young and The Restless right there. I think I need a flow-chart or something to follow all that.

Tell me about it. I don't have a family tree. I have a Gordian Knot.
And that's not even all of it...

Bri, your older sister sounds great! I am like Toad, alas - an only child. When I was little like 4 or 5, I used to run away to find other families to live with. I remember once my mother tracked me down and pulled me out of the back of a station wagon packed with kids from another family. I was ready to go! And I guess the Mom figured one too many was alot better than one too few. I cried all the way home.

She really is! Thanks

When I was little I longed to be an only child. Funny how the grass is always greener, eh?
