It's going to be windy. I'm going to bring my lawn chairs inside. Maybe the garbage cans too, although they are in a little nook and don't have much room to blow around.
Also going to clean the leaves out of the drain by the basement door. That will help keep the basement flooding to a minimum. Our pantry is pretty full, and we can always cook stuff on the gas stove top. The power will almost certainly be out for several hours at a minimum. Hopefully not days. We trimmed the dead limbs out of our huge oak tree a couple years ago, and it's still in pretty good shape. That's the only thing I'm really worried about. |

I just got back from a 2 hour trip to the store for "a few things" ...
OMFG - I got the last two cases of water - they were sold out of water SOLD OUT! WTF? Took friggin forever as every blue hair and mother with screaming children were there as well.
