That's right glatt. For the two weeks is a thousand pounds. It's not too bad, but since we have to pay the costs up front, we want to pay as little as possible. The uni is somewhat tardy about reimbursing expenses.

Thanks Rhianne. I'll probably get yours and limey's numbers for him before he goes, just so there's a couple of people he can call if he gets himself in a tight spot somehow. He is hoping to have a bit of free time over the weekend, but probably wont have a vehicle so not sure how that'll work.

Have you seen the roads? We're not talking Aussie straight highways here. We're talking one lane in each direction, twisty, getting-stuck-behind-a-tractor-for-twenty-miles-because-there's-nowhere-to-overtake roadlets
