"...So i panicked", reminds me of the time years ago, when my friend came home to all the curtains and blinds lying in the floor, along with a pile of dog shit in the hall. His then-dog, a very intelligent border collie mix, had went to every window, both doors were also scratched, trying to get outside so he could take a dump.
He got treats.
