I was out to the shop a little while ago, and spotted a couple of scarecrows (the village has been sprouting them the last week or so, as it's coming up on scarecrow festival time) at the big house up the way from me. Standing sentry either side of the main door was a Darth Vader scarecrow and a white stormtrooper scarecrow.
As I drew close I could hear the faint strains of the StarWars theme coming from somewhere nearby. Somebody clearly decided to combine Scarecrow Festival with StarWars Day. Bet they put them up yesterday :p I'll take my phone next time I go past and if they're still there I'll grab a pic.
