3/24: French wine violence

This is the French reaction to wine imports from Spain and Italy: terroristic action. A culture this serious about wine has got to be respected. Or taunted -- I can't figure out which.

That's like when they rioted over the food tax...silly French. They better not talk any more shit about the US...in fact, the next time they get fussy at the UN Security Council, the US could simply say, "Look France, you riot over food and wine...shut up!" And to Russia, "Look Russia, you can't say shit about the anti-missle defense...you can't pay your government employees and you attack your own people in our current age."

Pardon me, I'm just feeling spiteful right now...and I don't even support the Defense Shield.

Realize though that this is France we're talking about. Wine is all they have. It's their last card to play. If they lose it, then all they have is a long history of being snooty and surrendering.
