Not quite sure what PCOS is, but you want to keep an eye on your sugar levels. 120 is around the normal range.

Regarding your back...if you think the pain *may* be related to your kidneys, you can always ask your doctor to have you give a sample of urine, and have it tested. Also, you can have your blood tested to see if your creatinine is high. I believe 1.0 is normal (mine is currently 17, so my kidneys are kaput).

Do you have a family history of either diabetes or kidney problems? That's worth checking out as well.
