The space shuttle just flew over my house!!!!!!!!!! i snapped as many shots as i could. here's one now....i have to get back to work. i left there just so i could get the pics!!!

Yeah, it's on display at Ellington Field here until 9 p.m. tonight.

After sorting through all the pics I figure I have about 9 that truly stand out as being real good. When I get home from work I will re-size them and put them up. Those of you that are on my FB you can see every pic I took.

I'm liking the manual focus better than the auto focus for sure.

Sometimes cameras are too smart for their own good.

I tried taking a video of a metro train rolling into the station with my cell phone the other day. I was holding the phone perfectly steady, but the image stabilization software kept trying to stabilize the moving train, and then would jump back again when it realized it wasn't working. So it looks like I'm having an epileptic fit the way the movie jumps around all over the place.

Wow. Those are great! You were so close. The lighting is good, and they are so crisp.

I took one in the spring, and I thought it was good, but it's not nearly as good as yours turned out. You were in your back yard? Do you live near the airport or was it just good luck that it flew so close?

Thanks! My house is located on about a 5 mile final to runway 35L @ Ellington Air Force Base. Took the pics from up on the roof, I was so excited I was shaking! lol!
