What do you want?

I want a simple life. I want to wake up, make coffee, and peer out the window of my fairly isolated little home. I want to walk a path to the market and pick stuff out of my own garden. I want to be far from the rat race and only see the rats I want to see. I want to peer up into the sun from beneath my straw-brimmed hat while I tend my little plot of land, and smile at how peaceful it all is. I want to listen to the rain and thunder on a summer day and read books or make preserves. I want to go to bed next to my love, exhausted and happy, and anticipate the glorious possibilities of a new day.

I'm so unrealistic.
