That's a neat trick. Hunters know that the taste of game can change due to its diet, but actually being able to pass through poisons is something I've never heard of. The closest I know of is shellfish toxicity caused by pollution.

Poison Dart frogs aren't poisonous when kept in captivity. It's called the "diet-toxicity hypothesis", and a number of critters use it.
