Put it into perspective:

1) Lawyers will ALWAYS tell you that EVERYONE at every moment, should have the right to hire them for legal action against everything.

That doesn't mean said lawyer has an actual point to make. That just means he's a lawyer, and he wants to make $$$.

2) There is NO amount of studies that will ever fully satisfy some idealogues, about anything. When you've finished 5 years of study, they will simply take what you've found, and ask Why? What about? to ever deepening levels.

It's the rabbit hole that never ends. They can use the courts that way to stop whatever they want, however unreasonable the validity of their argument may be, for years, possibly for decades.

It's a six month trial period. Very reasonable. Don't let the trial lawyers scare tactics, twist out common sense.

Monsanto knows very well that it's reputation - even it's viability as a corporation, is tied to these products. It's like Boeing - they're not going to make something that's not carefully been checked.

Will it be perfect, or will it have a flaw like the 787 jet? Only an extended test will tell, ultimately.
