interesting that the caption for the Champion says it's a Mack but the truck thinks it's a MAN unit.

not much difference between Mack of the USofA and Maschienenfabrik Augsburg Nurnburg of Germany (fnarr-fnarr)

I see what you mean, but Guiness says Mack Titan, and Muddlex says Mack Titan Tri-Drive, which the picture doesn't confirm. The Shell tanker is a Tri-Drive.

Either way, it was an extreme, a record attempt, and doesn't represent the working road trains in Australia, like the Shell tanker does.
