Hi Grav.
When I was a Team Sergeant, one of my guys was from Bangladesh. Ali. Great guy, great family, I'm an honorary Uncle around his place. He taught me a lot about Islam. All Americans should be forced to travel around the world at least once, get to know some other people, not just through the lens of the news.

NPR is very diligent about referring to ISIS as "the so-called Islamic state."
I wonder if their style code would allow for the "so-called" to get added to more things, i.e. "al-Qaeada, a group of so-called Muslim terrorists." Altho in retrospect they're probably qualifying the word 'state', not 'Islamic.' |
