I'm with Monster. Perhaps it's a Brit thing.

We have many decommissioned churches here, and pretty much everyone I know applauds saving the architecture rather than allowing it to fall into disrepair.
A ruined chapel may be photogenic, but it says nothing about the glory of the God that was worshipped there, with drunks and teens p*ssing in the corners.

The use of this church - and the colour scheme - do little for me. But they are not supposed to because I'm the wrong age and mindset.
