Pretty sure he leaves it to Trump.
These two nominees completely change the parties if they put their stamp on them. The Democrats become full neo-con on foreign policy, submissive to corporate interests in regulatory policy, and hold the center on social policy. I guess that's Bill's Third Way. They lose the progressive left and working class whites by maintaining the status quo. The Republicans are pretty fluid, become anti-trade, anti-immigration, and all over the place on other issues. They pick up white working class folks but lose their intellectuals and their moderates. There was a time you could find a moderate Republican with good government credentials. GHW Bush would seem to be the last sensible Republican. It'll be fun to see what happens.
