Jan 19th, 2017: Colorful Mountains

The guy at the really busy contractor's and decorator's paint store drips some paint onto the edge of the mixing machine every time he mixes paint and pulls a sample on a mixing stick. Over the decades it has grown to be about 4 feet tall and 5" at the peak spreading to about two feet were it meets the floor. He said when he retires he wants to take it with him.

From time to time he's had to trim parts of it and the cross section is amazing.

Reminds me of The Fence at my alma mater. Though it's very bad form to do anything that would expose the cross-section.
