Speaking of the Egyptians, I just saw on National Geographic's web site that King Tut's parents were brother and sister. They did this big DNA study of a bunch of mummies. Kinda cool.

Did you ever notice that those graphs aren't pyramids? Triangles. Plain, two-dimensional goddamn triangles.
The government has been lying to you for years, people, it's time to WAKE UP!

The first pyramid actually was a pyramid. And because they went to so much effort to promote it in stead of the old "4 food groups" model, they didn't want to change the name when they updated it again most recently. A pie chart would make much more sense.

But then everyone would want pie, which would kind of ruin the point of the chart.

Beer is just bread, in an easy to consume liquid form.

Beer is my bread, and bacon is my butter. No wait, bacon is my bread and beer is my butter...no, that's not right. Beer and bacon are my various breads and various butters.

(paraphrasing from Woody Allen's What's Up Tiger Lily?)
