I was too lazy to write the triangle out perfectly, I figured you'd get it.

It is triangular in the sense that each line has one more number than the line before, i.e they have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 etc numbers on each line progressively.

You'll notice that the change in the angle of the side of the triangle occurs where it changes from one digit to two digit numbers. The two digit angle will continue until we get to three digits, where it will change and become flatter again.

So we could re-write the triangle leaving extra spaces between the single digit numbers:

.......11 12 13 14 15
.....16 17 18 19 20 21
....22 23 24 25 26 27 28
..29 30 31 32 .33 34 35 36

My last foray into romance was with a guy in his early 50s. If I'm honest i have to say it was a factor in my thinking when I was deciding to call it quits. Didn't bother me at first, but a couple of weeks in I started to feel the generation gap. We liked very different things and had different outlooks on things.

The worst bit was when I went over for Sunday lunch with him and his 17 year old son. There was a lot of tension between them and I ended up sitting there trying to make small talk...D was trying to be all sociable, but he was very gruff and scowly (without realising it I am sure) and there was an awkward silence hovering between him and his lad. All of a sudden I felt like I was back at the dinner table with my dad. *shudders*

I like older men but it certainly can get weird. I sometimes felt like a "kid", what with my horrid use of colloquialisms. My despicable speech. I sound like a sixteen year old...from the '80's, no less.

I'm currently dating a 40-year-old and I'm 25. There's really not that much awkwardness because we both like a lot of the same things, and to be honest I've always related much better to the last generation than the current one. -shrugs- I find older ladies and gentlemen generally have the bullshit out of the way, have settled down, and are ready for a serious relationship. My two cents
