It was OTC, a fringe element side effect of the OWS movement. They're messing with forces they don't understand.

Yeah. I eventually came to the conclusion that it is genuine mental illness, one of the manifestations of which is messing with people's heads and playing different characters on message boards.

I did at one point consider that she might not be real at all. had the same feeling last time as well, briefly. Quite spooky. Like conversing with a very sophisticated AI. Y'know, the way bits of your post would be mechanistically fed back within the response and used to launch a different line of conversation.

I think the person playing Pam is seriously ill. I hope that the posts I made projected that thought.

I feel sympathy for the person and hope that some day she will get some help.

I don't think this was the place to get it. She's better off banned.
