They're more clear and grey than the brownish color shown in the article's picture.

I'd heard they were in the vitreous humor, which I do not find funny at all, but thought that was on the outside of the eyeball, not inner jelly.

So I guess spraying myself in the eyeball with a fire hose won't fix it.

I recently bought an underwater enclosure for my camera, a Canon Powershot A710IS, and this Saturday I had a chance to take some pictures at the pool. This was one of them.

It is some young girl's fake fingernail. The white stripe is on the underside, hidden in this view. Putting aside for a moment the kind of gross thoughts about what exactly I'm swimming in, like, say, detached (fake) fingernails, I do like the colors in this picture. It's better when resized smaller, like... 1/2 to 1/3 of the shot above. The overlapping layers of translucent blue seem to be additive in the bottom of the frame, and the hot pink is a nice contrast.

I may repost this one and some others in the Underwater Photography thread for further discussion.

if i were you i would adjust the WB on that a little towards the cool. the blues end up more like grays on that one.
