LOST
Anyone watching this show? Anyone have any theories as to what's going on? Who's your favorite character?
I think it was great during the first season. Now there's too much character development and not enough unraveling of the mystery. Hurley's probably my favorite character. But then again Kate and Claire are great and better to look at. I have my theories as to what's going on. I'll tell you it's not "all a dream" and they're not all in purgatory. I'll talk more if anyone's watching.

The week before last was good. I like the mystery, suspense filled episodes. Last week was a snoozer to me. When I hear that sound they play as they go into a persons past, I sigh and look at the clock wondering...."how much time are they going to eat up this time?"
My daughter received her "Entertainment Weekly" and it has a photo of the map that was on the hatch door that fell on Locke. Have you seen a photo yet? Or have you hit the pause on Tivo or any number of devices available these days? I have not studied it, but it is all the hatches on the island and notes about each one.

its not all in hurleys head. they have the rest of the characters backgrounds that have nothing to do with hurley.
i like it and will watch it to the end. i download it every week as soon as it comes out.

Yeah, no way it's all in someone's head. I think they made that episode because so many fans are guessing "it's all a dream" or something lame like that. The writers of the show are trying to say "we know that's what you think, but c'mon we're not that lame."

The dream theory reminds me of the Bob Newhart series finale when he awoke in bed with Suzanne Pleshette and it had all been a dream. Classic!

"Buffy the Vampire Slayer" had an episode like that, too, where Buffy "woke up" in an asylum. That was left up in the air as well.

I haven't missed an episode of LOST. I heard an interview with JJ Abrams and he said they don't even know all the answers yet. They're making it up as they go. True or not, I'm afraid they will build it up so big that the pay off will suck.

I guess we'll get a preview of Abrams' payoff skills on the Alias finale. That's another show with all sorts of cool mysteries, but infrequent and vaguely disappointing payoffs.

Loved Alias. This current season was horrible from episode 1 though.
