Moose Lodge
 February 14, 2002 -- It's just another day hanging around Anchorage, Alaska, for this unlucky young moose. The 8-month-old wanderer became stuck after strolling onto the Fiberglas roof of a greenhouse shed, which collapsed and left the animated animal dangling for three hours. Rescue workers hoofed it to the scene and lowered the moose to safety, a feat believed to be the first of its kind in the city's history. -- AP |
