Unhappy Uruzgan

Just in case this slipped in below anyones radar. Back in January, US special forces attacked the a village in Uruzgan held by our current allies in Afghanistan and reportedly executed two men whose hands were zip tied behind there backs, while killing about 19 other villagers and capturing and beating 27 others (I'll post solid numbers if they come out). It seems obvious that we had no intention of killing allies but this is the kind of stuff that will invariably happen when empires try to solve problems using force. Its cool though, we apologised. (sarcasm) " A good end cannot sanctify evil means; nor must we ever do evil that good may come of it." William Penn

Please reduce the gain of your sanctimony amplifiers, so as to read the previous post effectively. I chose to leave sanctimony enabled due to a cultural background which many here do not share and may find more annoying than useful.

All [zoos] actually offer to the public in return for the taxes spent upon them is a form of idle and witless amusement, compared to which a visit to a penitentiary, or even to a State legislature in session, is informing, stimulating and enobling.
- H. L. Mencken
