Firefox 2

I just upgraded. I really like the spell check in forms feature. I can't speak to the reliability yet.

I just got this e-mail from corporate IT support: "Just Say NO to Internet Explorer 7.0"

Funny, that's almost what I said

I said something to the same effect to the technical management at a customer site.

IE7 breaks lots of ActiveX-based applications, doesn't align text well for IE (it does fix some of the CSS issues in Ie6, but the ugly IE6 hacks don't look that good in IE7), and has a couple of outstanding security issues already.

In other words, a good time to look at Firefox or Opera.

Freecorder

stream songs on youtube or whatever.....and record them realtime as mp3 files.

...one note.....after you install it go to the settings, and look to see where the files are being recorded. For me it was My docs, My recordings. Had a little trouble with it because it created 'MyRecordings' as a READ ONLY folder. once i unchecked that box, it worked. very cool.
