Worst thing you've ever done?

Go ahead, get it off your chest... we won't tell anybody.

Ok. Once, while a rival girl (I was 8, she was 9) up in Maine was water skiing on Tripp Lake, and I was the look-out for her, I wished so hard that she would fall that she did!

i feel pretty bad about that.

In third year of our physics class, each week we poured a little more hydrochloric acid into the first years' tadpole tank....

If I told you the worst thing(s) I'd ever done, you'd all ostracise me faster than I can blink, so I'll just say that I've never done anything wrong.

Thank goodness your suicide attempt was unsuccessful.

I once beat a man until both me and the man were crying
(sexual favours to anyone recognising the quotation)

I am an inveterate snooper (as previously confessed) and have read many diaries, mostly scanning for my name. I have little or no guilt about this!

But really, the worst thing I've ever done?
Getting divorced.
I hurt and let down people who loved me. And I certainly haven't forgiven myself yet.

Worst thing ever? Gosh....that's hard. Remained in a relationship even though I was no longer in love....still loved him, but y'know....wasn't in love. Suicide attempt aged 16 was pretty horrid. Waking up in hospital and having to explain to my poor distraught mother.

Absolute worst thing though? I allowed the distance to grow between me and Dad. When he and my partner didn't see eye to eye, I barely visited. I know part of that was just me growing up and living my own life, but still, I think that's something I will never stop feeling guilt over. He chose to live his life alone, but I chose to let him. Didn't fight for it. Don't get me wrong, I still see him, he visits sometimes. But I haven't been in his house for 15 years. Probably won't go in now until he dies.

Oh Dana thats hard - I grew really distant from my dad as well for the same reason. Now, after the "divorce" he and I have been getting closer than ever. Hell he just showed up yesterday - no call no knock and came in to watch the eagles game with my son and me. It was really cool. I lost out on 10 years, but I am going to make up for it the best I can.

That's so cool yesman. I would say I am prbably closer to dad than anybody else in the family, but he's such a private man, that getting close means getting along when he comes round. His life in Bolton is somewhat closed off to us.

I might just make it to the camper van party after all
(I'm not totally kidding either - my Grand Tour plans for 2007 fell through, but am determind to visit the US next year one way or another)

unless of course you have special rules for your guests
In this camper van, we do not pass solids....

I went to go see Phantom of the Opera at the movies, and there were a few annoying people sitting in front of me talking loudly just before the movie started. I knew they were almost certainly going to talk during the movie too, so I asked them to be quiet. They were so loud! Anyway, that was a mistake, because then they started talking even louder, just to spite me, and they even started to talk about me too.

Glatt, chick
Surely that's just an error of judgement?
And down solely to the perversity of the numbskulls in front of you.

If that's all you have to answer to at the Pearly Gates, please can I make a deal that you let me in the fire exit?
