A good, useful sign... though I'll bet it makes drivers somewhat disinclined to obey the sign after it.

So who took the picture, a hijacker digging in, or a tourist unclear with the concept? Or maybe the highway worker ordered to install it?

Or does this sign mean something completely unexpected?

The person taking the picture is not in the hijacking area, so is perfectly safe :-)

Hahaha, I have a picture in my head of a guy trying to hijack a vehicle just this side of the sign, while the vehicle owner just says..

"no, sorry, I am not in the hijack area, you'll just have to wait."
