![]() This is from Russell County, Kansas, where millions of birds are on the wing for some reason. So many that a cattle feedlot in Great Bend resorted to poisoning them. The city’s residents had to scoop dead birds off their lawns with shovels. |

God, that reminds me of something similar back home...
An upscale shopping mall in suburban St. Louis had a problem with excessive pigeons. So, they decided to poison them. The problem was that it caused the pigeons to die a horrible death (blood out of pores, seizures...something along those lines). The other problem is that one of the days they did it was on a Sunday while people were enjoying their Sunday brunch at one of the restaurants. Needless to say, it scared the living daylights out of people. |
