Does Hardaway like the bad place?

"You know, I hate gay people, so I let it be known," Hardaway said. "I don't like gay people and I don't like to be around gay people. I am homophobic. I don't like it. It shouldn't be in the world or in the United States."

What people do behind closed doors is their own business.
When it becomes a political statement it becomes weird.

Ugh, I really don't see why people hate homosexuals.

I find it funny that the people that are truely homophobic are the ones that can't get a girl in the first place, meaning that gay guys won't have any interest in them either.

That scratching sound you hear is the collective sound of pencils in houses of detention throughout North America adding the name "Tim Hardaway" to... The List.

Timmy is an NBA player. Therefore, the likelihood of him availing himself of someone's detention facility is vastly higher than any of the rest of us.

Bend over and spread 'em, Tim.

[gayness] shouldn't be in the WORLD?

I'd like to ban poverty, racism, and liver & onions, but I'm a grown up.

I hate haters, and this one reeeeeeally bugs me.

"I'm a homophile, so I let it be known."

<<Sigh>> I just hope the NBA's rep doesn't get so tarnished after what a retired player said.

Haters are all out there; but his statement doesn't represent the NBA as a whole.

Yeah. I mean the NBA is on its best positive vibe since Jordan came back in '94. LeBron, D-Wade, Gilbert Arenas and the like have rebuilt the league's deflated image since the isolation offense and fight at The Palace followed the second Bulls 3-Peat. Carmelo's sucker punch and now this don't help the league rebuild its image.
