dilemma
so i ordered my pizza at 330 am from gumby's pizza (its awesome man). And the guy told me 959 and I paid with credit card over the fone. Now the coupon said 649 for the 10 inch I ordered but I forgot to tell him and I didn't ask about tip. Is tip included or am I really being charged 3 dollars more than the coupon? Plus i have no tangible cash on me, save laundry coins that don't even amount to one dollar. Should I tip the delivery guy or is that already included? Fuck.

How are you going to tip him if you have no cash? Answer the door naked?

I lived in Champaign a million years ago. I always ate Papa Dell's pizza. We would even order it, and have it delivered to the Illinini Inn, a bar that also served pizza.

We don't tip in Australia. I think it's a great practice.

Correction, if we go out dinner sometimes we'll give the waiter a tip directly if we've had exceptional service.
Wait staff get pretty good money over here though. Minimum is over $15/hour so there's really no need to tip. You've already paid it in the price of the food etc.

In the US, when you order food with a credit card, they bring a receipt for you to sign and write the total on -- that's how you tip them.

I know your problem Fresh.
Some pizza places will add tip and some don't. I just usually get someone to get it for me so I don't have to worry about it . ![]() |

I order out alot using my credit card and the tip thing always works one of two ways:
1. When the guy comes to deliver the food he will give you the receipt, and just like at a restaurant you have to fill out the tip amount, and then fill in what the new total will be, including the tip. (Have a pen handy cause I swear to God they never have one) 2. The guy taking your order on the phone will just ask you how much tip you want to give. Now just to clarify, there is a major problem with step 2 and an even bigger problem in your circumstance with the guy just assuming you want to give $3 dollars. It's equivalent to tipping your waiter/waitress before you eat. |
