Drink Experiment

If I have a drink before posting here I usually try to hide it.
In other words I check my spelling more carefully, step away from the keyboard if I feel irritated, generally try to act as sober as possible.

Tonight I am sharing it.
I'll post updates in here with amount consumed so I can gauge tomorrow how I fared.

Am drinking Stella Artois. I may need someone to translate the units/ measurements. Or translate full stop - although I don't think it will get to that.

Right now - have had 3 English pints (3 x 568ml) of 5.2% lager
9 units as we calculate it in the UK

This isn't about how much I can drink btw - just a record so I can check back on how I posted.

My irritation level is up - I was cursing the printer just now, but I did that earlier when the shop was open and I was stone cold sober.
I have been hot all day, but have The Creeping Flush on my throat.
My fingers are a little random and spellcheck isn't set up on this PC.

Summer is here in D.C.. It's really too hot to spend any time outside today. I'll usually go for a little stroll at lunch, but not today.

I don't notice any change in your posts so far. Nothing obvious anyway.

Have started 5th pint
Keep forgetting I am technically here to feed the printer (printing the back of vouchers for a mailout)

Otherwise, feel fine.
If a little verbose.

Time does seesm to have slowed down
I wondered about that fact that no-one was here and no-one was posting. Then looked at trhe time to see it was 10 minutes.

The printer is already running out of black ink. I'm not sure I can handle being here in slo-mo if I don't have a real purpose.

Adding it here rather than clogging up other threads - THUNDER IS HERE!
Yay! Am welcoming the storm

And I had to correct even this short post 3 times...
I'm definitely affected.

Rain & thunder not constant
Printer has run out of black ink
Not enough people here tonight to keep the board moving

I picked the wrong night!

Reading snopes but it's not engaging me
May have to go home

This isn't waa-waa-waaah, just part of the experiment. The sulky part
On 7th pint. Will stick sperry-ment til I finish at least. Will be the benchmark on my few posts outside of this thread.

We're coming up to 22.00 here
Was thinking of making a beer run (and food run - have't eaten since midday!) but realised this was about documenting my experience, not making myself incapable of work tomorrow!

Mebbe I'll try it another time on US friendly time.

For the record Dana, we seem to be in pockets of storm. Going from thunder to dry within 15 mins. But I expect it will hit seriously after midnight as prev posted.

Has to amend spelling muchly!

I might go & buy some cigarettes on the way home
I do feel drunk

On my last can (the 8th)
Don't think I've exposed my drunken self - would have to log on in the middle of the night to connect to ppl at the same ponit.

Argh. Burping & trying to work out if kebab is good idea...

I once tried to drink my way around EPCOT center at DisneyWorld. You know--all those international pavilions serving their local brew.

Only made it about half way before I had to stop!
